Position: Company Accountant /Assistant Accountant
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Limited, a highly regarded growing Chartered Certified Accountants & Tax consultants firm based in North East London is seeking to appoint an assistant accountant to assist with looking after our client base, mainly start –ups and SME.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting records analysis; preparation of statutory accounts, tax computation, providing client advice & HMRC correspondence.
The ideal candidate will hold a suitable degree/diploma and accounting practical experience of at least two years and must have to know more than three languages specially Bengali, Hindi and Urdu.
You will be hard working, motivated and willing to learn and be able to manage juniors and attitude of getting the job done.
Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by compiling information; preparing trail balance, profit and loss accounts, income statements, Balance Sheet and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures.
Working with a diverse portfolio of clients of differing sizes and meeting their requirements in terms of book keeping, accounts and tax issues.
Preparing business plan, budget and periodic analysis for the clients in the UK.
Periodically bank reconciliation, cash-flow statements and VAT analysis.
Undertake financial and Credit control of company’s finance and accounts department, supervise accounts team and report on periodic results.
Prepare financial, cash flow analysis, budgetary and other management reports for internal and external clients.
Salary Range: £22K-25K
Prospects for progression are exceptional. Yearly bonus, study support for part qualified ACCA.
