About the Role:
As a General Operative you will need to be a multi skilled individual with good experience in a wide range of civil engineering (groundworks) aspects.

##### Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in civils (groundworks – ducting, concrete foundations etc).
- Experienced in the use of a 1.5T Excavator and 1T Dumper
- Experienced Banksman
- Telehandler license (not essential but would be beneficial)
- Streetworks tickets (not essential but would be beneficial)
- Familiar with safe working practices alongside Health and Safety requirements.
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Prepared to assist with site set up, hand digging, laying concrete & ducting etc (not all works will be in a machine).
- Prepared to assist with other works (i.e. Cabling and first fixing containment etc) when not on civils projects

- CSCS (CCNSG and EMSS also accepted)
- Streetworks
- CPCS / NPORS
- IPAF (not essential but would be beneficial)
- Full Driving Licence.

##### This role will involve regularly working away from home. Accommodation and expenses will be provided.
The successful candidate will be subject to BS7858 Security Screening and UKSV.
Full employment will be subject to successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.
