    Role Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of enterprise data architecture and analytics capabilities. This role is critical to enabling data-driven decision-making by defining scalable, secure, and well-governed data solutions aligned with business and technology strategies.

    As part of the Data Architecture function, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping data platforms, standards, and best practices while collaborating closely with business, analytics, and engineering teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Define and manage enterprise data architecture to maximize the value of data assets.
    • Develop and maintain a Data Architecture Strategy, Blueprint, and Roadmap.
    • Implement architecture- and capability-led approaches to support advanced analytics and large-scale data initiatives.
    • Define information architecture requirements for large and complex programs.
    • Create reusable enterprise data architecture models, standards, and patterns.
    • Establish, promote, and govern data governance best practices, including quality, security, and compliance.
    • Act as a subject matter expert for end-to-end data architecture across platforms and domains.
    • Collaborate with agile delivery teams to design and implement modern, scalable data products using emerging technologies.
    • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to advocate for data architecture principles and alignment.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to build data architecture capability across teams.
    • Support both change initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) requirements through strong stakeholder communication.
    • Contribute to innovation, continuous improvement, and internal knowledge-sharing communities.

    Required Skills & Experience

    Data Architecture & Modelling

    • Strong experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
    • Ability to harmonize data across multiple domains and lines of business.
    • Experience integrating data from multiple sources while ensuring consistency and accuracy.

    Data Governance & Compliance

    • Proven experience defining and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
    • Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.

    Data Platforms & Technology

    • Technical leadership experience with enterprise data platforms and ecosystems.
    • Exposure to platforms such as SAS, Oracle, and cloud-based data technologies.
    • Strong understanding of modern data engineering and analytics architectures.

    Collaboration & Leadership

    • Experience working with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business objectives.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a rapidly evolving data landscape.

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
