FULL DESCRIPTION
Trainee IT Power Platform Developer
To undertake designated duties within the IT Team in accordance with [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] requirements. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, supporting automation of business processes, collaborating with analysts and end-users, participating in testing and maintenance, and staying up-to-date with the Power Platform ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Support the automation of business processes and workflows to increase efficiency .
- Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Power Platform solutions.
- Document application features, configurations, and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates within the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Leverage and experiment with Microsoft Copilot and other AI-driven tools to enhance solution development and improve productivity.
- Respond to Helpdesk tickets, enabling progression and resolution in a timely manner.
- Be involved in ensuring systems availability, reliability and business continuity capability.
- To maintain clients’ and the Company’s confidentiality at all times.

Skills Required:
- Excellent customer service, IT skills and telephone manner.
- Some experience or demonstrable interest in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) or similar low-code/no-code platforms.
- Basic understanding of software development principles .
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desirable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Dynamics 365 is desirable.
- Ability to persuade and influence others.
