Security Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Solution Architect to design and deliver enterprise-grade security solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in architecting secure, scalable, and compliant solutions, with hands-on experience integrating a broad range of security technologies and tools.

This role requires deep technical knowledge, architectural acumen, and the ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into effective security designs that align with organizational standards and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-level and detailed solution designs (Solution Design Documents – SDDs) for enterprise security solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural principles, governance policies, and security standards.
• Design and architect solutions across multiple security domains, including:
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Endpoint Management tools
• Cloud and On-Premise Security Solutions
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders including IT operations, application teams, compliance, and risk management to capture requirements and translate them into secure, technically sound architectures.
• Evaluate, recommend, and integrate security products, tools, and technologies to enhance the organization’s overall security posture.
• Ensure all solutions meet compliance, data privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
• Provide architectural oversight and technical guidance to implementation and engineering teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices, continuously evolving architectural approaches to strengthen enterprise security.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in designing and delivering security solutions across multiple domains including DLP, SIEM, IAM, and Endpoint Security.
• Strong background in Infrastructure and Cloud Security Architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Minimum of 3+ years in a Security Architect or Solution Design role within large or complex enterprise environments.
• Proficient in authoring Solution Design Documents (SDDs), architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Solid understanding of industry standards and frameworks, including NIST, ISO 27001, and TOGAF.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, CCSP, or AWS/Azure Security certifications are highly desirable.
