IT Field Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] offers a great opportunity for the right candidates to join their Operations team working on comprehensive monitoring solutions for some of the largest tunneling projects in the world in UK and Norway. The selected candidate will integrate into our highly experienced team and will provide technical field support to the [Employer hidden] systems that provide communications and security services in tunnel and mining projects.

• Installation, software configuration and field maintenance of radiocommunication systems, fiber optics (fused cabling and test), networking (LAN, WAN, WiFi), CCTV and automation (PLC programming, environmental sensors) in projects located in United Kingdom or Norway.

REQUIREMENTS

• Higher Vocational Training in Network Computer Systems Administration or similar - More than 1 year of experience in installation and configuration of telecommunications systems (optical fiber, networking, radio communications, optical fiber, automation) - High level of English (minimum B2 or equivalent) with telephone communication skills
