FULL DESCRIPTION

We have a part-time opportunity, offering great work life balance, for a committed vet to join our friendly team at Isle Valley Vets. We are a busy first opinion, RCVS accredited, village practice and our fantastic team are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and clients.

The Role:

We’re looking for a confident vet comfortable withsole charge work including routine surgeries.

    - Salary – dependent on experience
    - FTC (Maternity Cover) - January 2026 - October 2026
    - Part-time - 2 weekdays and a 1-in-4 Saturday mornings
    - Hours – weekdays 8:30am until 18:30pm, Saturday mornings 8:30am-13:00pm
    - No OOH or on-call

    Our Team:

    We’re an experienced, supportive, and welcoming team that works collaboratively across all areas of the practice.

    Our team typically includes:

      - 4 part-time Vets
      - 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses
      - 1 Behaviourist
      - 2 Receptionists
      - 1 Practice Manager

      We are 5 miles west of Yeovil, based in the beautiful, community rich Somerset village of Stoke-Sub-Hamdon there is a wealth of things to see and do in your downtime.  Whether you like hiking, cycling, historic sites or eating out this area really does have it all!
