FULL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a full-time Small Animal Vet on a fixed term Maternity Cover basis to join our fun and friendly team at our Berwick-Upon-Tweed branch.

The Role:

  • Full-time - 40 hours over 4.5 days with an hour lunch break
  • We are proud to provide our own OOH care, with our colleagues receiving time in lieu after on call shifts
  • Saturday mornings and OOH shifts are on a rota

** Salary up to £50,000 dependent on experience

  • A varied caseload, mostly dogs, cats and rabbits plus some exotics too. We work closely with our local rescue centre and our wildlife centre

  • An experienced and supportive team of vets, with 2 internal medicine certificate holders
  • An experienced and supportive nursing team, with certificates in anaesthesia, exotics and ECC
  • CPD and certificates supported and encouraged
  • Obtained the silver rabbit friendly practice award
