[Employer hidden] is a specialist recruitment business focused on senior hires for early-stage tech startups and high-growth companies. We work across SaaS, FinTech, and Digital Health, supporting founders and leadership teams as they scale.

We’re hiring a junior recruiter who wants to learn the craft properly: how to run structured searches, speak to senior candidates, and deliver high-quality shortlists - without the “spray and pray” agency approach.

What you’ll do:

  • Market mapping and talent research (finding the right target companies and profiles)
  • Outreach and candidate engagement (LinkedIn, email, phone)
  • Screening calls and structured note-taking
  • Building shortlists and writing clear candidate summaries
  • Interview scheduling and candidate management
  • Keeping our CRM clean and up to date
  • Learning how retained search projects run

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need recruitment experience. You do need:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence speaking to new people every day
  • Strong work ethic
  • Pace, organisation, and attention to detail
  • A commercial mindset (you’re comfortable with targets and feedback)
  • Curiosity about tech and how startups grow
  • Reliability - if you say you’ll do something, it gets done

On offer:

  • Hands-on training in search and headhunting (not just CV admin)
  • Daily coaching and weekly structured training sessions
  • A clear framework to follow: scorecards, outreach templates, and process
  • Exposure to senior roles and founders from day one
  • Modern tooling, including automation/AI where it genuinely helps

Compensation & working pattern:

  • Base salary dependant on work experience
  • Uncapped commission with realistic first-year earning potential as you ramp
  • Hybrid working (mix of home + office)
  • Flexible hours where it makes sense (outcomes matter)
  • 20 days holiday (increasing with tenure) + birthday day off
  • Team socials and a supportive environment (high standards, no politics)

Recruitment is a sales career. You’ll be building relationships, handling rejection, and learning fast. If you want a role where you can develop serious commercial skills and progress quickly, you’ll get that here.

How to apply:

Submit your CV and cover letter explaining why recruitment, and why startups, and what you’ve done that shows pace, resilience, and organisation.
