Acquisitions Analyst/ Associate

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group is seeking an experienced real estate investment and development professional to join its London-based acquisitions team as an Analyst or Associate. The role involves sourcing and executing transactions across multiple sectors nationwide, requiring strong relationships with commercial real estate agents and brokers, along with commercial acumen.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the acquisition manager by creating development appraisals and cash flow models
  • Source, review, and negotiate multi-sector real estate opportunities for value-add investment
  • Conduct market research and property-level due diligence
  • Coordinate and manage input from professional consultants
  • Work closely with internal planning, development, asset management, sales, and lettings teams
  • Support and participate in legal reviews through to completion

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in the real estate industry, ideally from a commercial real estate agency or brokerage background
  • Excel proficiency, with demonstrable experience building real estate cash flow models
  • Strong market knowledge of the residential sector, including Build-to-Rent, PRS, BTL, and permitted development conversions
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate investment risk
  • Proven ability to originate and progress transactions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with agents, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume acquisitions environment

Candidate Preferences:

  • RICS qualified
  • Previous experience in commercial real estate agency/brokerage
  • Proven track record of successful acquisitions or sales across any real estate sector (preferably residential, PBSA, office, commercial, serviced apartments, hotels, etc.)
  • Knowledge and prior experience with office-to-residential conversions
