Business Analyst

Do you have a deep understanding of IT concepts, data analysis, data mining and data discovery? If you have substantial financial analysis and analytics experience and would like to use your skills in a multinational organisation where you are encouraged to bring fresh ideas and develop your career, then we would love to hear from you! In this role you will be based within the Business Intelligence (BI) department, reporting to Head of Business Intelligence. Your remit is to coordinate and drive analytics capability through our current business intelligence tool set. This role is a key leadership role and works multiple functions to drive organisational strategies.

The role is a key leadership role within the organisation and is responsible for driving our change agenda and moving the organisation towards becoming a data driven organisation.
Overseeing and driving analytics capability through our current business intelligence tool set.
Work closely with a variety of internal partners to maximise the use of our Business Intelligence platform and provide key insight to drive the decision making process.
Promote the value of key analytics and sound data management through the BI Centre of Excellence.
Manager business partners in a timely manner, understand the importance of excellence in service and communication in order to build strong business relationships.
Work with advanced analytics tools to provide more insightful analytics to the business.

Necessary skills required:

Relevant experience in Logistic, Banking, FMCG, Telecom industry
Vast experience in financial analysis and analytics
Have strong demonstrable development experience in the specified technical areas listed below
Ability to adapt to rapidly and constantly evolving requirements
Have strong analytical and interpersonal skills and experience in a business facing role
Be a great teammate, Self-starter and must also be able to work unsupervised under own initiative
Communicate well at all levels, has a flexible, positive approach to work
Experience working data and terminology
Managing partners and their needs is essential for this role along with an understanding of the financial analytics
