FULL DESCRIPTION

Human Resources Officer- Performance, Learning and Development

This is a full time (37.5 hours per week), permanent role based in our head office in Kidderminster.

### JOB PURPOSE:

Working with and alongside an existing team for the efficient administration of the day-to-day operations in all aspects of the Human Resources Department, including:

  • End to end recruitment- attracting, assisting in the selection and onboarding new talent
  • Onboarding- ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for new starters
  • Staff Development & Training- supporting continuous learning and growth across the business
  • Appraisal System Development
  • Talent and Skills Matrix
  • Administration and maintenance of all Human Resources related employment documentation and records
  • Supporting managers and staff with policies and procedures
  • Effective handling of any incoming Human Resources related queries
  • Updating all Human Resources management information including databases, spreadsheets etc

### KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience of working in a Human Resources department with a desire to develop a career in Human Resources- ideally in excess of 2 years experience
  • Qualified to Level 5 CIPD or working towards would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Ambitious and driven
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Proven organisational skills and administrative ability
  • Ability to work on own initiative and work to deadlines
  • Passion for staff development and continuous improvement
  • Flexible attitude to work and solutions
  • Excellent communication  and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to form good working relationships with people at all levels within the business
  • Strong IT skills including Word, Powerpoint and Excel
