Job Description:

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care and support to residents, promoting their dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing. Duties include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and working closely with nursing and care teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Help with mobility and moving patients safely
  • Support with eating and drinking
  • Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in care areas..
  • Assist in preparing patients for treatment
  • Help with maintaining patient records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Care Certificate or willingness to complete it
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy, patience, and a caring attitude
  • Trustworthy, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Good attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
