We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support the teaching and learning experience in primary and secondary schools in (put location here) and other surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, patient, and ready to make a difference in students' academic journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with classroom activities, providing one-on-one or small group support to students.
  • Help to implement tailored learning plans for students with additional needs.
  • Monitor student progress and report any concerns to the lead teacher.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students with their emotional and social development.
  • Supervise students during break times, lunch, and other school activities.
  • Help with administrative tasks such as preparing materials and setting up classroom displays.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

Requirements:

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a teaching assistant role or working with children is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, patient, and positive attitude toward working with students.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices in a school setting.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent) would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required (we can assist with this process if needed).
