Bid Writer

Location: London

Are you a passionate and creative writer? Do you have a keen eye for detail, thrive on creating engaging content and want to be part of a growing team to make a real impact?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer to join our innovative and fast-paced team. You will have a ‘can do’ attitude and can hit the ground running and successfully contribute to a rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and understanding client specifications and tender documentation.
  • Interpreting questions and constructing response templates supporting SMEs.
  • Drafting and writing Selection Questionnaires and/or bid submission responses using persuasive and positive language.
  • Review and evaluate all tender enquiries/responses for completeness and accuracy. Proofreading final documents prior to submission.
  • Maintaining and refining the library of existing content.
  • Maintaining an awareness of regulation and legislation development, preferably with CQC experience. Management and refinement of the pre-existing library of past tender responses.
  • Market research into target geographies and competitor analysis.

Experience / Skills

  • A proven track record in bid writing.
  • Graduate (BA/MA) in English, History, Creative Writing or similar.
  • Passion for writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal English.
  • Confident in their ability to work in a team and autonomously.
  • Excellent organisational skills/being able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure.
  • Takes pride in their role and contribution
