FULL DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to run the day to day operation of an Aqua Park for summer 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a vibrant visitor attraction - keeping customers safe, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring every session runs smoothly and efficiently.
What you will be doing:
- Leading daily operations, planning and staffing across the Aqua Park.
- Being the onsite Health & Safety lead and ensuring processes are followed.
- Optimising sessions by reviewing bookings, weather and staffing.
- Coaching and motivating a seasonal team to deliver brilliant customer service.
- Working closely with Directors on performance and site improvements.
- Ensuring maintenance checks, records and compliance logs are completed.
- Keeping our site safe, clean, organised and running like clockwork.
Training & Development:
- Complete company specific online modules and structured practical training with the Aqua Park management team.
- Meet training milestones set by the Sites Director.
- Deliver bite-size training sessions to Aqua Park employees once signed off.

- You have strong judgement, confidence and the willingness to take responsibility.
- Previous management experience.
- Great communication skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- A practical solutions focused mindset and a genuine care for customer experience.
- Good IT skills and comfortable learning new systems.
- Confident in and around water, able to swim with a sense of urgency.
- Full driving licence.
Desirable:
- If you hold a First Aid at Work Qualification, or are willing to gain it.
- Practical skills, such as happy setting up equipment and printers.
- Great at trouble shooting, hands-on, able to fix things/find and propose solutions.
- Management experience in one of the following sectors: aqua parks, logistics/hospitality/facilities/emergency services/retail.
- OR experience in any of the following roles/environments: an outdoors environment, such as leisure, open water swimming, kids clubs/activity camps, youth programmes, marine/chandlery services, activity centre, instructor/sailing instructor, venue operations, guest experience resort or holiday park.

Other Information:
- You will need to undergo a DBS Check before you can start work.
- You will be fully referenced before starting work, so you will need to provide details of two referees.
- Full availability across the summer season, our peak season is July to September.
- Be open to occasional travel to our other Aqua Parks, at the beginning and end of the summer.
