What You’ll Be Doing

You'll play a pivotal role in leading technical delivery, supporting engineers and SREs, and fostering a culture of high-quality, scalable engineering. This is a leadership role where you're not just guiding but also rolling up your sleeves alongside the team.

Tech Stack & Practices

You should bring solid hands-on experience with:

• Java, Spring, Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres, Kafka
• CI/CD pipelines with fully automated deployments and testing
• TDD, BDD, and modern coding standards
• Microservices architecture – understanding both its power and its trade-offs
• Scaling, reliability, observability, and all things non-functional

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has worked on OTT (Over-the-top) technologies
• Knows how to implement lean/agile practices like Scrum, Kanban, and continuous improvement
• Communicates clearly across all levels – from stakeholders to engineers
• Encourages innovation while keeping delivery on track
• Brings a calm, collaborative approach to solving complex challenges

Rate: Up to £650/day (Inside IR35) Location: Hybrid (flexible working environment) Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
