What will your job look like
- Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices
- Set up and support operating systems, business applications, and productivity tools
- Assist users with login issues, password resets, email configuration, and access permissions
- Monitor and manage support tickets, ensuring timely response and resolution within SLAs
- Record incidents, document solutions, and update knowledge base articles
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, patches, and antivirus checks
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities including account creation and device setup
- Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to senior support or infrastructure teams
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data protection standards, and best practices
- Communicate technical instructions clearly to non-technical users
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain user satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 0–3 years of IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support/Technical Support experience (internships acceptable)
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365/Office, networking fundamentals, and hardware troubleshooting
- Familiarity with helpdesk/ticketing tools
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or equivalent are advantageous
