We’re on the look-out for a Business Development Manager to work directly with our MD to grow our pipeline of leads and convert new customers. You’re a people person, happy with networking and building relationships. You don’t just provide what is asked, but you understand what the goal is and advise accordingly.

About the role

We’re on the look-out for a Business Development Manager to work directly with our MD to grow our pipeline of leads and convert new customers. We’re all about conversions, it’s what we deliver to our customers. Our new BDM will love the symbiotic relationship between digital marketing and software (websites and apps), seeing them as being part of the same system that ultimately delivers conversions, whether that be leads, sales or awareness. You’re a people person, happy with networking and building relationships. You don’t just provide what is asked, but you understand what the goal is and advise accordingly. You know how to create opportunities, as well as handle the inbound enquiries that come in through our channels. You will influence [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]’s marketing, ensuring we’re targeting our ideal personas and sectors. You understand data, you can read analytics and see the story in the numbers. You know which types of marketing are appropriate and why, whether that be organic or paid advertising. You understand user experience blockers and see opportunities for enhancing software to deliver greater value to our customers, and their customers. You’ll be working with our internal marketing, client services and production departments and have the support you need to create proposals and pitch decks. There is role progression. You will be working directly with the MD to grow sales, but ultimately you will become fully responsible for the new business that comes into [Employer hidden], and you will be able to grow a team. With:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in a digital marketing agency in the same or an equivalent role
