FULL DESCRIPTION

Production Administrator

As a Production Administrator you will be responsible for processing orders and documentation for the factory and support in some business to business customer service.

Main purposes of job:

As a Production Administrator you will be responsible for processing orders and documentation for the factory and support in some business to business customer service

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Business to Business Customer Service

  • Answering the phones and responding to emails relating to customer queries.
  • Corresponding with the shop floor supervisors and production office to resolve customer queries.

Production Office Administration

  • Processing customer sales orders
  • Managing orders through the production and dispatch process
  • Printing and sorting factory work orders
  • Completing work orders on the factory ERP system
  • Invoicing complete orders from the system
  • Parts and products system uploads
  • General office administration

Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience working in an office administration role

Preferable

  • Previous experience working in a production office
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience in order processing, parts management and warehousing in a production environment
  • Experience using and interrogating manufacturing Enterprise Resource Planning systems

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication

Reporting to:

Departmental Supervisor and Production Manager

Further Information:

  • 1.5x overtime for hours worked over 38 hours per week
  • Profit driven bonus
  • Contract Type – Full time contract with 6 months probation period
  • Working Hours – 38 hours per week
  • Semi flexible working hours dependant on office cover however, must be in the office every day
  • Office open Monday to Friday – 7am to 5pm
  • Paid 10 minute morning and afternoon break
  • Unpaid 30 minute lunch break
