Warehouse Operative

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Maintain the warehouse to a high standard
• Managing floor and racking space in the warehouse to facilitate the efficient flow of materials onto the shop floor.
• Offload goods inwards and store in stock location
• Check delivered quantities against goods received notes
• Deliver warehousing documents to the production office, reporting any discrepancies
• Working with the production supervisor, receive and sort returns. Deliver returns to the factory for reprocessing
• Sort deliveries and move material to the designated warehouse or shop floor area.
• Operate FLT
• Conduct FLT checks
• Maintain company standards for health and safety in the department
• Ensure quality level of work meets company standards.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Further Information:

• 1.5x overtime for hours worked over 38 hours per week
• Target driven bonus
• Contract type – 3 months temp to perm contract
• Working Hours – 38 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday – 7am to 4pm
• Friday – 7am to 11am (overtime normally allocated after standard hours Friday)
• Paid 10 minute morning and afternoon break
• Unpaid 30 minute lunch break
