Job Summary

Fastech, a division of [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group Ltd is currently recruiting for experienced Bodyshop staff throughout the United Kingdom. We’re looking for experienced Automotive Vehicle Bodyshop Technicians from all kinds of Automotive backgrounds. You will be an integral part of our team as a Vehicle Bodyshop technician working on all makes of vehicles.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Repair or replace damaged bodywork panels.
  • Panel replacement and filler work.
  • Strip and replace damaged body panels and trims.
  • Selects, cuts, shapes and assembles materials to form parts of vehicle underframe, framework and body;
  • Hammers out dents in bodywork, fills in small depressions or corroded areas in solder, plastic or other filler compound and replaces body panels using hand and power tools;
  • Positions, secures and repairs external fittings including windows, doors, door handles, catches and roof attachments.
  • Body alignment and jig work.
  • Diagnoses job requirements or ascertains work specifications from drawings or instructions;
  • All repair work to be completed to a high standard.
  • Productive and efficient at all times.
  • Ensure all job cards are completed correctly

Skills Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Vehicle Panel Beater
  • Great eye for detail
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • The ability to maintain High quality Standards in fast-paced environment
  • An awareness of safety procedures

Qualification and Experience

  • 3-5 years proven and referenced experience
  • Level 3 Diploma in Accident Repair Body Principles
