Purchase Assistant Manager – FMCG
The Purchase Assistant Manager will be responsible for inventory management, vendor development and management, negotiation with suppliers, analyzing market trends, and adding to the product portfolio. The role requires a graduate with 4 years of experience and strong computer skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management – tracking and updating the existing stock held within the warehouses.
- Vendor Development & Management – bringing new vendors on board, and managing the current ones on the portfolio with regular communication.
- Strong Negotiation & Communication Skills – negotiating daily with the suppliers, vendors, with the best possible target price.
- Analyzing market trends and identify new products that might be advantageous to the business and keep adding on the Product Portfolio as per the season and the geographical location.
- Should be able to make decisions on an urgent basis calculating multiple aspects and making decisions without bias,
