Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Pleasure Beach is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team, responsible for the safety and efficiency of rides and attractions. The role requires accredited electrical engineering qualifications, knowledge of control systems, and experience with fault finding and maintenance.

We, at the Pleasure Beach, are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our amazing and talented team who are responsible for the safety and efficiency of our amazing rides and attractions.

We are looking for the following:

  • Accredited and certified electrical engineering qualifications, this will include a nationally recognised degree, diploma or certificate to Level 3.
  • Knowledge of ControlNet/DeviceNet/Ethernet/DH +/Profibus applications.
  • Familiar with regular use of electrical schematics and be able to demonstrate competence with fault finding around sophisticated control systems, which include the use of PLC systems and AC/DC drives linked via industrial networks.
  • 18th Edition IEE Regulations Certificate.
  • Ideally, from a FMCG industry with control and automated systems experience.

Main Tasks:

  • Fault finding, repairing and replacement work across the 42 acre site which includes the rides, retail and catering units and residential properties
  • Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
  • Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly.
  • Carry out quality inspections on jobs.
  • Liaise with departments and other engineering and production colleagues.

  • Comfortable and able to work at height.
  • ‘Can do’ attitude.
  • Willingness to undertake staff training and development when required.
