- · Produce and present accurate monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts, and board packs.
- · Support business planning, scenario analysis, and growth forecasting, including potential exit or investment planning.
*Hands-On Financial Operations*
- · Manage all day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in every transaction.
- · Take ownership of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking, VAT, and month-end processes, maintaining accurate ledgers and reconciliations.
- · Process supplier invoices, raise sales invoices, manage payment runs, and ensure timely collection of receivables.
- · Oversee and improve cashflow management, ensuring adequate working capital and financial stability.
- · Prepare and submit statutory filings, including VAT returns, PAYE, and corporation tax (with support from external advisors as needed).
- · Manage relationships with accountants, auditors, and HMRC.
- · Maintain the finance systems and ensure data integrity across accounting software and reporting tools.
- · Continuously review and refine processes to create efficient, scalable financial operations.
*Commercial & Business Partnering*
- · Provide financial input and challenge to commercial initiatives, product pricing, and contract negotiations.
- · Build financial models and business cases for new products, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
- · Deliver insight into cost control, margin optimisation, and performance improvement opportunities.
- · Partner with operational leaders to embed financial awareness and accountability across the business.
*Investor & Transaction Readiness*
- · Lead financial due diligence preparation and support potential fundraising, acquisition, or sale processes.
- · Prepare and maintain investor data, financial models, and key documentation for prospective partners.
- · Work closely with legal and corporate finance advisors to ensure smooth transaction execution.
*Future Team Development*
- · Establish the foundation for a future finance team as the business grows, including potential recruitment and mentoring of junior finance staff.
- · Develop scalable systems, policies, and procedures to support future expansion and reporting needs.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

- · Previous experience in a technology, SaaS, or digital business.
- · Experience in preparing for investment, M&A, or due diligence processes.
- · Exposure to private equity or venture capital-backed environments.
- · Experience implementing or optimising accounting and reporting systems.
- · Entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
Why Join Us?
