Multi-skilled Construction Operative
We are looking for a versatile and experienced Multi-skilled Construction Operative to join our growing team. You will work on a range of construction and maintenance projects across residential and commercial sites.

We are looking for a versatile and experienced Multi-skilled Construction Operative to join our growing team. You will work on a range of construction and maintenance projects across residential and commercial sites.
Responsibilities
- Carry out skilled construction tasks including plastering, tiling, carpentry, bricklaying, and painting.
- Interpret and follow technical plans and drawings.
- Use power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Travel to multiple sites as required.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Install partition walls, doors, windows, and roofing elements as part of refurbishment or new builds.
- Assist in the supervision and training of junior site operatives.
- Carry out defect diagnosis and remedial works on residential properties.
- Perform minor electrical fixes (e.g., fitting sockets, basic wiring — if trained).
- Liaise with clients and site managers to interpret job specifications and resolve on-site challenges.
- Maintain records of work completed, materials used, and site safety logs.
- Conduct periodic site inspections and report hazards or maintenance needs.
- Work with construction software or tools for reporting or time tracking (if applicable).
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in hands-on construction work.
- Skilled in at least two building trades.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Valid driving license.
Desirable but Not Essential:
- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant trade
- CSCS card
- Health & Safety Level 1 or 2 Certificate.
