London based Hedge Fund specialising in multi strategy commodities trading with significant AUM requires experiences commodity traders in multiple disciplines. If you have at least 3 years demonstrable P&L in:

• Multi-commodity spreads trader
• Commodity risk premia strategies and CTA rolls
• Oil distillates
• Base Metal Options
• Softs: ideally sugar & ethanol but all considered

We are looking for traders with at least three to four years of demonstrable experience executing their own strategies. If you are ambitious, competitive, and want the opportunity to execute robust, market-leading trading strategies, this is the role for you.

Our client:

• London based commodities hedge fund
• Significant increase in AUM over the last 12 months
• Focus on discretionary trading strategies - some systematic desks now being established
• Able to structure the desk format to the traders need
• In a position to offer to the right candidate immediately

Applicant requirements:

• Clear track record of proprietary trading experience required
• Three to four years of professional experience on a trading desk at either a hedge fund, bank, or top-tier proprietary trading firm
• Ability to articulate an initial strategy to develop the book

Candidate skill set:

• Be passionate about the opportunity to execute proprietary trading strategies
• Be ready and willing to own the risk of a proprietary trading book

Compensation: Competitive base salary, performance pay as a % of desk profit, conservative desk costs based upon the traders requirements.
