Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer specializing in Building Services Design. Based in London, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects around the world, delivering innovative and efficient electrical engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the electrical design aspects of building services projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Conduct detailed electrical design calculations, prepare specifications, and develop layouts.
• Oversee and review the work of junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Participate in client meetings, providing technical expertise and support.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in building services design, with a strong portfolio of high-profile projects.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in the office 3 days per week.
• Eligibility to obtain security clearance.
