Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer - £30k-£45k (dep on exp)

We are looking for an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a small family run business who sell, service and repair a variety of machines utilised within the Automated Food and packaging industry. The Maintenance engineer role requires both Electrical & Mechanical maintenance and repair experience within a Manufacturing/Production environment. It comes with long term security and on the job training on project specific machines which are very varied in their complexity and design.

The Maintenance Engineer will be based mostly in the workshop, with an occasional requirement to provide maintenance support services and repair on client site. The role will include breakdown repair, maintenance, service and build across a large range of different automation / industrial machinery. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to work for a young but growing business in the Food and packaging automation industry.

Required experience:

• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of maintenance procedures and protocols.
• Solid Electrical & Mechanical and repair skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to fabricate and repair equipment.
