Physicist
Cambridge - £40-£55k.
The Role:
The Physicist will lead and technical contribute to novel innovation projects developing new technologies and solutions including inventions, analysis, computational modelling, prototype design, laboratory testing, process development and manufacturing.
Due to the nature of the work the successful candidate will need to satisfy security clearance requirements, this role is not eligible for UKVI sponsorship visa scheme.

Requirements:
- An excellent degree 2.1 or above in Physics/Applied Physics.
- Solid understanding of physical principals
- Strong record of experimental problem-solving skills and excellent level of creativity
- Familiarity with areas such as analytical, numerical, and finite element simulation, thermal systems, optics, imaging systems, fibre optics, lasers, fluorescence imaging and interaction of light with real-world surfaces
- Electromagnetics, including propagation, penetration, interference and interaction with electronics,
- acoustics, including haptics and acoustic communications and, fluid analysis, including droplet and aerosol formation, particle dispersion, fluid flow and microfluidics.
- An interest or experience in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning is also welcome
- Excellent communication skills
