FULL DESCRIPTION

RF Design Engineer - Cambridge – Hybrid (4 days on site, 1 day working from home.) Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience.) Benefits: Extensive package incl. non-contributory pension and bonus scheme.

A brand-new exciting opportunity for an experienced RF Design Engineer (or RF Systems Engineer) to join a highly innovative organisation in Cambridge consisting of over 700 engineers who are at the forefront of technology, developing next generation connected products within consumer electronics and IoT devices. You will actively participate in the development of RF hardware and new wireless systems for low-power, handheld consumer electronics and get the chance to work with some of the latest technologies and components on the market.

To be considered for the role of RF Design Engineer you need the following experience:

  • A good degree (BEng/MEng) in Electronic Engineering or Radio Frequency related technical subject.
  • Recent and relevant experience in RF systems development and wireless hardware design, ideally within consumer electronics space.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi, BT, GPS and Cellular RF implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of RF/wireless system architecture and Wi-Fi/BT/Cellular protocols.
  • Experience of RF test for device characterization and performance validation
  • Passion for your work and accomplishments! A desire to develop yourself.
