Head of Product Development – Neurotechnology (Neuromodulation, AIMDs, DBS - Deep Brain Stimulation, TUS, tES, etc) Cambridgeshire - Salary £120k - £160k depending on experience + bonus and excellent benefits!

This position is open to international applicants looking to move and work in the UK – handsome relocation package available and sponsorship.

You must be a leader in Neurotechnology devices development and have seen a neurotechnology device into manufacture – Ideally implantable.

Head of Product Development will be responsible for the following:

  • Technical leadership – able to be the authority to drive the new product development of neurotech/implantable medical devices.
  • Project leadership - including program management, resource management, and client relationship management. You’ll also get to support business development by meeting potential clients, putting together project plans, and writing proposals.
  • Operational responsibility for the delivery of projects on time, to budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Drawing on your experience of developing and launching medical devices, you’ll also be able to advise colleagues and clients on the appropriate product development and regulatory processes. Your insights into risk management will directly impact design and manufacturing decisions.
  • Contributing to the strategy for the Neurotechnology market team to enhance the company’s product engineering capabilities over the next 3 years.

The Head of Product Development will need the following:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related discipline with a track record of academic excellence.
  • A system-level understanding of neuromodulation device design and/or complex implantable medical devices and risk management having worked under 13485 (or equivalent).
  • Evidence of your team management and/or project leadership experience.
  • Recent and relevant experience lead the engineering of a novel AIMD from development through to clinical trials or product launch.
