Senior Electronics Design Engineer (Analogue)

Salary: circa £60k - £80k + benefits
Vacancy Location: North Cambridgeshire (Commutable from Peterborough, Cambridge, Northampton, Bedford, St Neots, Stevenage, Milton Keynes, etc)

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a state-of-the-art R&D company based in North Cambridgeshire on hybrid basis. You will be working across a plethora of different cutting-edge development projects across industries such as Medical Devices, Consumer Electronics, Automation, Wireless Communications, IoT, Robotics, autonomous tech, etc.

You will join the friendly and supportive Electronics and Systems group where you will lead electronics development. Responsible for project manager, technical content and leadership for an array of different exciting products. Due to the nature of the work applicants must have extensive knowledge and experience in analogue electronics design.

Senior Electronics Design Engineer ( Analogue ) requirements

  • Degree in electronic engineering or physics or a relevant discipline.
  • Recent and extensive experience analysing, designing, constructing & testing analogue electronic circuits.
  • Experience working as a Technical Lead / Project Manager / Mentor
  • Proven track record of electronic circuit design and electronic system design innovation.
  • Experience developing power supply circuits for a variety of applications.
  • Understanding of principles of PCB layout for analogue electronics circuits.
  • Knowledge of design for electromagnetic compatibility and experience solving EMC-related design problems.
  • Experience using schematic entry tools such as Altium Designer SE.
  • Experience using analogue circuit design simulation tools such as LTSpice.
  • Innovative mindset – can demonstrate a track record developing innovative analogue electronics circuits.
