Logistic Coordinator
Annual Salary Range: £38,000 to £39,000 | At Least 1 Year of Experience in Logistics Required
Job Responsibilities:
- Strong Skills in Customer Service
- Proficiency in IT Systems
- Manage and Process Customer Orders, and Forward Documentation to Storage and Distribution Teams
- Organize and Optimize Delivery Routes, and Coordinate Driver Dispatch
- Utilize GPS for Real-Time Tracking of Truck Locations to Ensure Efficient Routes and Monitor Driver Performance
- Serve as the Initial Contact Point for Drivers
- Assist in Loading and Unloading Merchandise from Distribution Trucks
- Plan Delivery Loads, Establish Vehicle Timetables, and Designate Routes for Delivery Staff
- Monitor Driver Work Hours and Distance Travelled through Tachograph Readings, and Maintain Relevant Records
- Secure Customs Clearance and Handle Import and Export Paperwork for Inter-City Goods Movement
- Keep Accurate Records of Freight and Personnel Movements and Locations
