Job Summary
Lead Diagnostic Services with Flexibility, Autonomy and Clinical Impact
Salary: £150 - £250,000 + Bonus
Main Job Duties
### Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead adult EMG clinics (10-15 outpatients per session)
- Deliver portable EMG services for inpatients when needed
- Support and guide the development of physiologist-led carpal tunnel clinics
- Work in collaboration with physiologists delivering EEG services
- Report on adult and paediatric EEG studies, with potential to expand into ambulatory EEG
- Provide clinical advice across our neurophysiology team and services
- Engage in audit, revalidation and professional development
- Contribute to a collaborative, quality-focused team across the UK
### Person Specification
### Qualifications and Experience
- MBBS or equivalent primary medical degree
- Full GMC registration and licence to practise (or near-completion)
- On the specialist register for Clinical Neurophysiology, or working towards it
- Fluency in written and spoken English, including medical terminology
### Knowledge and Skills
- Broad experience in clinical neurophysiology across adult and paediatric cases
- High-level competence in EMG/NCS, including neurology, orthopaedics, general medicine and ITU
- Experience working independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with service improvement, mentorship or training is desirable
