The role involves travel across the UK, health surveillance, fitness to work medicals, health promotion, drug and alcohol testing, and more. Candidates must be Registered General Nurses with a valid NMC Pin, 2+ years of nursing experience, a full driving license, and excellent communication skills.

Occupational Health Advisor – Full or Part-Time

[Employer hidden] are always looking for dedicated Nurses to join our small friendly team. The roles of an Occupational Health Advisor and others involves travel across the UK therefore nurses must be flexible to travel. All training to be provided to the right individuals. Nurses must be enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a caring and respectful attitude towards our clients and their employees.

An Occupational Health Advisor must be flexible in their approach and be prepared to drive a mobile health screening vehicle and organize their own workload within specified criteria’s.

Nurses will be responsible for health surveillance such as audio, spirometry and vision testing. Fitness to work medicals such as Forklift truck medicals/ safety critical medicals. Health promotion/ wellbeing days. Drug and alcohol testing. Return to work medicals following sickness and absence. Case referrals and much more. Experience of report writing advantageous.

*For this role you must* –

  • Be a Registered General Nurse and hold a valid NMC Pin.
  • Nursing experience of 2 years +.
  • Hold a full clean driving licence.
  • Be flexible with working hours.
  • Autonomous.
  • Organized.
  • Excellent communication skills.
