About the Role
As part of our dynamic and specialist clinical team, you will provide expert neurophysiological monitoring during complex spinal and neurosurgical procedures. Your role will be critical in helping surgical staff prevent neurological injury and safeguard patient outcomes.
This is a bank position which could involve extensive UK travel and variable working patterns based on service need.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist IONM services in theatres across the country
- Accurately acquire, interpret and report neurophysiological data
- Work collaboratively with surgical and clinical staff to maintain patient safety
- Maintain high standards of documentation, quality assurance and governance
- Uphold MediServices’ values and professional conduct at all times
Person Specification
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Experience in delivering IONM services
- Strong clinical judgement in high-pressure environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable
- Eligibility for or registration with RCCP/HCPC
- Experience in both NHS and private hospital settings
- Ability to travel extensively with access to personal car

We’re looking for a highly experienced Clinical Physiologist to join our team as a Senior IONM specialist. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, excellent clinical judgement, and a genuine interest in developing others through education and mentorship.
You’ll be working within a supportive, clinically-led service that delivers advanced neurophysiological monitoring in theatre, with concierge-level support and placements across NHS Trusts and Independent Hospitals (serving NHS and/or private patients).
