Department:Supply Chain - Stores Reporting To:Stores Supervisor Contract:Permanent, Full-Time Hours:38.5 hours per week Monday - Thursday: 0830 - 1700 Friday: 0830 - 1530 About the Role As the Stores Operative you will be managing the storage and safekeeping of all goods, checking all goods for damage and storing them appropriately. You will also be accountable for the movement of goods and responsible for all paperwork relating to the receiving and dispatching of goods, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail and team-work. Key accountabilities include but are not limited to; - Understand and follow correct procedures, whilst adhering to company and Data Policy - Ensuring stock accuracy and maintenance of system stock movements, whilst working closely with the Stores Supervisor - Promote and follow continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices and support resource maintenance - Pick and delivery of stock items to relevant departments - Kitting for duties for box build and conventional assemblies - Materials storage & handling and maintaining accurate inventory - Materials relocation to stores from kits, count back, operation of x-ray counter - Support activities for annual stock check process - Follow published procedures and policies in line with CIL business management system - Flexible working between sites when required - Ensure goods in tasks are performed accurately - Responsible for loading/unloading supplies and equipment (some requirement to operate company vehicle to deliver shipments and assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area) - Undertake complex kitting duties to support SMT - Cycle counting and batch alignment - Co-ordination of the despatch process to support both the delivery to customers and return from suppliers of components - Administration of required paperwork including project reject notifications - Clean room transfer, cleaning, and handling of materials - Ability to work competently independently with minimum supervision, whilst raising any issues to the attention of the Supervisor - Expediting - Carry out any other reasonable request which is for the benefit of the business, within the scope of the stores team. Qualifications

- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent to include English and Maths - Strong computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy - Previous experience of working in Stores within a manufacturing / electronics environment is desirable - Knowledge of MRP Systems and experience in utilizing these would be preferred - Understanding of basic stores operations, such as FIFO is desirable It would be desirable if you had skills in the following: - Material transfers between part records and locations - Material volume adjustments and transactions, understanding of material sign off requirements - Ability to mentor and train others - Reporting and monitoring of departmental KPI’s Due to the need to support both sites in Andover, holding a driving license would be preferable.
