FULL DESCRIPTION
The Reception class Teacher will guide students in the principles of Islam, solely focusing on ‘aqā’id (matters pertaining to beliefs). Topics such as love for Allah ﷻ, love for the Prophet ﷺ , angels, books, messengers will be discussed and explained to children in a fun and engaging manner. Children will also be taught general manners and simple duas. The role involves creating a fun and inspiring learning environment that nurtures spiritual growth, and creates a deep, lifelong connection to their faith.
Title: Teacher of Reception
Type: Part time
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:40 PM – 6:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: Sundays, 12pm – 1:20pm
Hours: Candidates may apply for either shift individually or for both shifts, based on their availability.
Salary: £12.50/h (+ Fuel costs for applicants outside Wycombe)

Key Responsibilities
- Plan & teach Islamic studies class based on our textbook ‘Imaan’
- Attend trainings & CPD sessions
Qualifications and Requirements
- ✅ English speaking (UK born preferably)
- ✅ Excellent class control and time management
- ✅ Knows foundational rulings and has basic understanding of Hanafi Fiqh
- ✅ Tech Proficiency: Competence with using educational technology

Desirable/Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified ‘Alim/ ‘Alimah
- Qualified Hafidth / Hāfidthah
- Previous teaching experience. Experience is not a must as training will be given, however any experience is welcome.
- Knowledge of teaching methodology
