OCEAN FREIGHT IMPORT OPERATOR – FREIGHT FORWARDING/SHIPPING

£26,000 to £32,000 – Depending on experience

Permanent Position

Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5.00pm / 9.00am – 5.30pm

Have you worked in Oceanfreight Import Operations?

We have a new role working for a Birmingham based Freight Forwarding organisation who offer their customers a full range of services from Exports & Imports, whether Airfreight, Seafreight or International Roadfreight.

The position of OCEAN IMPORT FREIGHT OPERATOR will join a knowledge and experienced Freight team who handle Global shipments from start to finish.

The successful OCEAN IMPORT FREIGHT OPERATOR will be responsible for;

  • Processing Ocean Freight Import Operations from start to finish
  • Handling FCL & LCL Oceanfreight shipments from enquiries, quotes, booking through to delivery
  • Booking containers with shipping lines
  • Booking transport solutions
  • Raising & Processing Shipping Documentation
  • Customs Import Customs Clearances
  • Arranging the collection of freight
  • Handling all Freight Forwarding administration
  • Customer/carrier communication.
