Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations for six of our Supported Living Services within South London. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing high-quality care to young adults with a Learning Disability and/or a Mental Health Condition. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Duties

  • Supervise daily operations of the business, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to the needs of each resident.
  • Oversee medication administration and ensure all staff are trained in safe practices.
  • Lead and manage a team of caregivers, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations related to assisted living and senior care.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents’ needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a positive environment that promotes the well-being and dignity of all residents.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role with a CQC rating of “GOOD” achieved.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within an assisted living or care home setting.
  • Strong understanding of care plans, medication administration, and senior care best practices.
  • Relevant qualifications in nursing or health management are desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to resident care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development in the field of home care and senior services.
