FULL DESCRIPTION

A well-capitalised international renewable energy platform is expanding its UK development team and is looking to appoint a Development Manager to support the growth of a multi-technology portfolio. This is a hands-on role with real ownership across the full development lifecycle, within a lean, high-quality team that values pace, rigour and accountability.

Renewable Energy – Development Manager (UK)

You will take responsibility for progressing utility-scale renewable energy projects from development through to investment decision and financial close, with exposure across:

  • Land strategy, landowner engagement and option / lease structuring
  • UK planning and environmental processes, including consultant management
  • Grid, technical design and constructability considerations
  • Project acquisition support and development due diligence
  • Stakeholder and community engagement
  • Commercial inputs, including offtake strategy and PPA processes
  • Internal investment committee presentations and approvals

- Circa 5+ years’ experience in UK renewable energy project development or execution

- Strong understanding of planning, land and grid in the UK context

- Comfortable operating across technical, commercial and stakeholder interfaces

- Commercially minded, detail-driven and delivery-focused

- Backgrounds from solar, onshore wind or storage are all relevant

- Backed by a large, long-term infrastructure owner with strong balance sheet support

- Existing operating assets plus a sizeable UK pipeline under development

- Genuine autonomy and visibility in a growing platform

- Clear runway for progression as the portfolio scales
