An exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant E-Commerce Manager has arisen to join blue chip brand managing all day-to-day online operations. They are looking for an experienced, confident, enthusiastic, and commercially minded and customer focused e-commerce professional.

You will be working to ensure products have the required data and imagery to launch on time and working to resolve any issues as quickly as possible to optimise sales on site. Key responsibilities include working to Identify and launch commercial opportunities within e-commerce sector to boost sales, as well as optimising site navigation, customer journey and product placement to drive online sales. Additional responsibilities include:
- Working with the E-Commerce Lead to develop, plan and execute a full year promotional calendar and sales strategy, which includes opportunities to test and learn.
- Manage affiliate advertising to maximise sales ensuring reporting is accurate and sales optimised and manage budget accordingly.
- Use internal reporting and third-party systems including Google Analytics and data studio to analyse performance as well as creating reports which monitor all aspects of the online business
- Be able to build a promotional campaign from scratch in Salesforce, including a pre-launch testing programme. Conduct end-to-end tests with transactions prior to publishing on a pre-determined deadline.
- Work on new initiatives such web chat, analysing performance and communicating this to stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to make sure that all Omni channel initiatives are delivered effectively, and sales are maximised.
- Build relationships across all departments (at a local and international level, e-commerce agencies and suppliers).
- Devise, design, implement and execute email campaigns, with tagging, to support the annual digital promotional calendar.
- Undertake special projects to enhance the digital presence and them through from concept to publication as part of a wider team or as a solo task.
Previous E-commerce experience and website management skills are essential, along with excellent attention to detail and the desire to strive to get things right. A track record of developing and achieving E Commerce strategy is also needed. You will be an articulate and a clear communicator who is flexible and able to embrace new concepts.
The role will be office based in for 4 days per week.
