FULL DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Band 5 Community Nurse to travel to patients homes/Care Homes. Responsibilities include medicine management, end-of-life care, diabetes care, wound care, catheterization, and initial assessments. Full-time position in IG2 and surrounding areas.
Band 5 Community Nurse
These shifts will require the candidate to travel to patients homes/Care Homes so candidates must be drivers.
Location: IG2 and surrounding areas
Competencies:
- Medicine Management
- End of Life Care
- Diabetes care/management e.g., Reading blood sugar monitors and insulin administration.
- Complex wound care
- Trauma wounds- non-complex
- Surgical wounds- non-complex
- Handle peg feeding
- Pressure Ulcer care
- Initial assessments.
- Recent Anaphylaxis Training
- Male and female catheterisation- care of and insertion.
Pay Rate: £18-23 per hour
