We are seeking highly motivated and dynamic individual Safety Consultants with experience of supporting nuclear safety within the nuclear power generation sector. The successful candidates will work on the delivery of major projects within the nuclear industry and be based within our Warrington team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of major nuclear safety cases, including authoring, verification and management of engineering change documentation.
  • Providing specialist technical input and advice to resolve complex problems.
  • Production of formal technical reports, safety cases and other project deliverables on time and to budget.
  • A drive to ensure successful delivery and continuous client satisfaction by delivering pragmatic and proportionate solutions.
  • Building up and maintaining client relationships.
  • Management of projects, including:
  • Responding to client requests for support
  • Accurately costing project tasks
  • Managing resource to ensure project delivery within budget

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering and/or supporting nuclear safety cases is essential.
  • Previous experience working with EDF is desirable, e.g. EDF AV3 or AV2 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and logical skills are essential.
  • UK Citizen (Due to security requirements)
  • Clear communication skills are essential, both verbal and written, and strong organisational skills and attention to detail are critical.
