Pay and Benefits

- £40560per year plus overtime. - Up to£2500 bonus on successful completion of probation - Full Time - 06:00 to 14:30 (13:30 Friday) and 09:30 to 18:00 (17:00 Friday) with requirement for Saturday morning (06:00 to 11:00) when required. - Uniform provided. - Tooling Allowance. - Excellent career development opportunities. - Mental Health and Wellbeing Scheme. - On-site parking.

Requirements

  • Must hold a formal qualification NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • HGV or Plant mechanical maintenance experience.
  • A Class one(C+E) licence would be preferable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
  • Ability to use tools and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Determined and resilient, with the drive to complete tasks.
  • Ideally have experience working on Mercedes, Renault & Scania.
  • Ideally have experience working with hydraulic systems.
  • Full driving license.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general mechanical planned and corrective maintenance.
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT.
  • Carry out diagnostic fault identification and rectification repair.
  • Assist with apprenticeship training.
