FULL DESCRIPTION

Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care (Buntingford, Hertfordshire)

£15.20 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Day and night shifts available

About the Client

Our client is a man who lives at home with his wife and two Great Danes. They benefit from structured routines, reassurance and support both at home and in the community. A carer who is calm, patient and confident working independently will thrive in this role. A driver is essential.

Clinical Requirements

You will support the client with the specific clinical tasks outlined in their care plan. These may include:

  • • Spinal injury experience is essential
  • • Cough assist
  • • Medication administration
  • • Non-invasive ventilation

Full specialist training and competency sign-off are provided by our Clinical Team, so you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.

Shifts Available

We offer consistent and predictable shifts to support your work–life balance and financial stability.

  • • Day shifts: 08:00 - 20:00
  • • Night shifts : 20:00 - 08:00

What the Role Involves

• Delivering compassionate 1:1 care in the client’s home

• Supporting with community access and social activities

• Promoting independence and dignity in all tasks

• Providing emotional reassurance and wellbeing support

• Communicating effectively with the clinical, care, and coordination teams

Your presence will help the client feel safe, supported and in control of their daily routine.
