Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Sales Engineer to combine technical knowledge with commercial awareness. The role involves working closely with customers to understand their filtration challenges, recommending appropriate solutions, and supporting projects from initial enquiry through to delivery. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, building long-term relationships, and translating technical detail into clear customer value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify customer requirements through proactive engagement and consultative questioning
  • Recommend tailored filtration solutions aligned with performance, compliance, and cost needs
  • Deliver product demonstrations and clearly communicate technical benefits
  • Respond to technical enquiries and provide first-line troubleshooting support
  • Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to ensure accurate proposals and smooth project delivery
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive satisfaction and repeat business
  • Manage priorities, follow-ups, and customer expectations to support successful outcomes

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Sales Engineering or a technical sales role
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and confidently present technical solutions
  • Strong technical problem-solving and support capability
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently (including remote working where required)

Desirable

  • Experience within filtration or a closely related technical industry
