Client Manager/Practice Accountant

Our client, who are a friendly, small, firm of accountants assisting businesses and individuals in all aspect of accounting and taxation, are looking to appoint a Client Manager/Practice Accountant. The successful applicant can be full time or part time. No minimum hours requirement to fit around your lifestyle or commitments. This can be office-based in Moreton-in-Marsh, work from home, or hybrid.

To be considered, you will be qualified or part qualified ACA/ACCA/ with significant experience working in an accountancy practice.

They are Xero specialists, and hopefully you are too!

There will be the responsibility of supporting their growing client base. Main roles to include preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102 or FRS 105, corporation tax returns, personal tax computations, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT Returns, CIS Returns, Payroll reviews, pre year end planning work to provide clients with projections and performance reviews, management of deadlines and workflows.

In addition, you will be supporting and developing the Accounts Assistant.

To be successful, you will need to be technically competent with meticulous attention to detail. So if you enjoy making sure that everything meets the standards it should be, then this could be the role for you.

They are a small practice but have seen fast growth in the first five years which will give great opportunities for future progression.

You would be reporting directly to the Director.

Salary: £34,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 37.50 per week
