Assembly Operative

Industry: Electronics Salary: £11.44/hour Contract Type: Permanent, Temporary Full Time Location: BD18, Saltaire, Bradford, UK

An excellent opportunity for Assembly Operatives has arisen for our client based in Shipley. Our client is well established & has been in operation for over 20 years.

They are now looking for Assembly Operatives to strengthen their existing team due to growth. The main purpose of the role will be to assemble & glue components & cables to the required standards.

This is a temporary role with a view of going permanent after 12 weeks, for the right candidate.

Main Duties

  • Working from verbal instructions
  • Measure & cut cables to length
  • Thread cables
  • Glue & crimp connectors
  • Using a variety of hand tools

The Candidate

  • Must have previous assembly experience
  • Have experience of working from instructions
  • Ability to measure & cut accurately
  • Have a high level of concentration needed to carry out the intricacy of the work
  • Ability to work with small fine components

Salary & Benefits

  • Temporary with a possibility of going permanent after 12 weeks
  • Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30
  • £11.44 per hour
